Overview
ZOOOM CONNECT provides an audio-only push-to-talk communication system using Zoom Meeting SDK and related Zoom APIs. This policy explains what information is processed when customers use the service.
Information We Process
- Administrator and client usernames created for customer access.
- Customer meeting configuration such as Zoom meeting number, passcode, host user ID, account ID, and OAuth configuration.
- Device binding information used to restrict a client login to an approved device.
- Connection state, mute/speaking state, room assignment, and audio-level indicators needed to operate the live session.
- Audio recordings when recording is enabled by the customer or host administrator.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only to authenticate users, start and manage Zoom audio meetings, assign room access where enabled, display live participant state, enforce device restrictions, and provide recordings requested by the customer.
Zoom Data
The service uses Zoom credentials and APIs to create SDK tokens, fetch host authorization tokens, and operate meeting-related workflows. Zoom SDK secrets are kept on the backend and are not exposed to Android or Windows clients.
Recordings
When enabled, recordings are stored for customer access and operational review. Customers are responsible for obtaining any required consent from participants before recording audio conversations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers used to operate the service, such as hosting, database, storage, and Zoom services.
Retention
Customer data and recordings are retained while the customer account is active or as needed for service operation, support, legal, or billing requirements. Customers may request deletion of their data and recordings.
Security
Access is protected by authentication, role-based access controls, HTTPS, server-side SDK token generation, and device binding for client users.
